My new webcomic, a humorous look at the zombie apocolypse of Urban Dead launches its first strip!

The bonus comic I did for Urban Dead is now becoming its own series. The response has been very positive. It will be titled Mistakes Were Made! and update 2 comics every other week. On the alternating weeks Kentou Underground will update. This will slow down KU, but I believe it will work out for the best. This will allow me more time to work on quality KU pages while giving me short breaks to make a funny panel for Mistakes…!. Making a mfull page color comic is grinding and the momentary laspes here and there will be good for me as an artist.

I almost hate to admit this to the gaming public, but I am just now playing The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and Oblivion for the first time. I am so behind the curve. Actually, it has more to do with my utter lack of free time and money than anything against the games. I am enjoying Morrowind greatly, and trying to tweak Oblivion so it won’t stutter so much.

My gaming group on Friday nights just completed a summer session of Legend of the Five Rings. I love the fuedal Japanese role-playing! Truly, the only world where a player playing in character cannot feel bad about a death in battle. Such a death is part and parcel of the Samurai’s life, and greatest thing to which he can aspire. Now we move onto a PnP version of the web game Urban Dead. That should be a blast. I am a big fan of the zombie apocalypse genre.

But, not to worry, these things are not delaying my comics at all. KU’s newest page will be up today, and more work continues on this month’s bonus work. In order to enjoy this work you will have to sign up for a membership on the forums. Membership is free and simple.

I am currently working on a 2×3 humor strip for the members-only area of the forums. It might be up next week. Might. I am also beginning pencils on the next Kentou Underground. Busy, busy, busy. Not much else to report.

November is over. Thank god. What a crazy month. the last two weeks were marked by a total C: drive failure and a vacation to my parent’s house. The last week I tested for and passxed my red-trim test in Tae Kwon Do. Hurrah for me!

Now that things have stabalized and my computer is doing a reasonable facsimile of working I have updated Kentou Underground. Nothin’ mo’ to say. BigJ out.
