A couple new things are going on this week.

First, is job-hunting. I am looking for work to tide me and my family over until I can either get back to grad school or find better work. I had an interview yesterday along with a drug test. nothing sense esteem for a job like tinkling in a cup.

Second, I am developing ideas to expand MWM! and give a donation drive that will allow the readers a little say-so in upcoming bonus material. We’ll see how it goes.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. I did little piece of MWM! art for the holiday.

This design has become a bit of a mascot for the site and can be seen in several other places, not the least of which is the donation pic.

This design originally showed on Cecil’s coffee mug in strip #2. It was originally influenced by certain 8-bit video game enemies, such as Mario’s Bullet Bill. I modified the original concept and added zombie-green coloring. It’s official name as MWM!’s mascot is MonsterMug. MonsterMug will continue to make appearances in and out of the comic, especially in holiday pictures.
I began MonsterMug as a lark, something cool to have on Cecil’s cup, but it has taken on a life of its own. This makes me chuckle a bit because MWM! started as a bit of a lark and now has become a full-blow comic, almost 2 months running. Funny but cool.

I have been sick as a dog with the flu. Between the aches, fever spikes, at one point delirium, and coughing up semi-solid chucks of gooey… stuff… I’ve had one heck of a winning weekend. However, I am getting better, so updates should be coming shortly.

I have big plans coming up for Mistakes Were Made!, having to do with an update schedule and a chance to let the fans get involved a bit. I’m not going to say too much about it now, just keep an eye out on MWM!’s page and the forums for upcoming news!
