Posting Rules, Read before posting

This forums and related sites are rated Web 14. That means:

NO ADULT CONTENT. No pornographic pictures, displays, or posts. No scenes of graphic violence. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
USE DECENT LANGUAGE. There are a few bad words allowed here, but the worst are censored. Posting excessive foul words, trying to get words past the word filter, or posting images of restricted words are all prohibited.
All registered members MUST be 13 years of age or older. This is not only good sense but the law where this forum is administered. Accounts of members under age 13 will be removed.
No linking to adult content sites. This site will not be used as a clickthrough for any site with pornographic or mature content.

These are non-negotiable rules. Breaking either one is a serious infringement of forum rules.

In addition, this forum restricts behaviors considered destructive or impolite by most forum communities. These include::

1) Harrassment of members. Using the forums to harrass any forums membersby flaming, spamming, or bullying them is prohibited. AT NO TIME MAY ANY MEMBER THREATEN ANY OTHER MEMBER WITH REAL WORLD HARM. See the caps and bold? I am serious.
2) Spamming. Repetitive posting of topics / replies is likewise forbidden.
3) Trolling. Posting for the purpose of angering forum members is looked down upon and trolling posts will be removed.
4) Mining for personal information. Using this site to gain personal information on members is not allowed. A member may post personal information, if they wish, but no member can coax, threaten or demand information from any other member.
5) Advertising for member's own profit. Sharing sites is allowed, but getting a membership for personal profit is not. This site is intended for the use of Big J Comics business and associated ventures, and no other.
6) Attempting to hack or virus the forums or another member by any means. Needless to say, hacking the forums or any member is a severe infringment of internet protocol.

Admin Priviledges and Consequence Guidelines
Admins have the rights to all the following actions in regards to members that have broken ANY of the above rules:

Post a warning on the member's account or the admin forums, or both.
Delete any offending post or edit the post in any way.
Ban a member or cancel a registration for any infraction.
Only a Head Admin may edit an admin's post or restore a banned or deleted account.

Warnings may be given prior to a deletion, ban, or post removal, but are NOT REQUIRED. Admins may act without warning because the impetus is on the member to obey the posting guidelines.

Moderators are capable of editing member posts that infringe the forum rules. They may also post about problem members on the admin forums. They may do so without warning for any infraction.

Basic Forums Courtesies
Aside from these rules, have fun. Remember basic forums courtesy when posting. This includes:

1) Post a topic where it is appropriate, under the proper forum catagory.
2) If you are asking a question or seeking help please try to use SEARCH to see if it has been posted before.
3) Do not post the same reply multiple times. Rebuttal, say your peace, then give others a chance to chime in.

Lastly, on the subject of comics...
As a comic creator there are things I will and will not do.

On the top of the DO NOT list is add characters or situations to a comic based on reader request. I am sorry. I know we all have cool ideas, both for characters and "what if?" situations regarding them, but my comics are ongoing stories, in some cases planned out for years to come. There is an exception to this rule in regards to cameo appearances in MWM! and Urban Dead characters. That thread can be found here.

I may however accept commisions or ideas for desktops or other things. However, remember, all things will be Web 14 rated and I always reserve the right to say no to any submitted idea.
